Transparent terms, no hidden fine print. Below is everything you need to know before ordering a device and subscription.
Device warranty
Every GPS unit we ship (Teltonika FMB003, FTC880, FMC003 and compatible models) comes with a 24-month manufacturer warranty - twice the standard 12 months offered by most Bulgarian resellers.
What is covered
- Defects in materials or workmanship
- Electronic failure under normal use
- Issues with the GPS / GSM module
- Free replacement with a new or refurbished unit (our choice)
What is NOT covered
- Mechanical damage from accidents, impact, flooding or fire
- Improper wiring to the 12V/24V electrical system
- Self-repair attempts or opening the casing
- Lost devices (without the serial number)
- The SIM card (covered separately by the mobile operator)
How to file a warranty claim
- Email support@simplegps.bg with a description and the device IMEI
- You receive an RMA number within 1 business day
- Ship the unit at our expense (we provide the label)
- Within 10 business days you get a repaired or replacement unit
Shipping
Lead times
- Orders before 2:00 PM on a business day - shipped same day, delivered next business day
- Orders after 2:00 PM or on weekends - shipped the next business day
- All of Bulgaria is covered via Speedy and Econt
Rates
Discreet packaging
GPS trackers are often used as anti-theft protection, so every shipment goes out in plain packaging with no labels, logos or content hints. Only the recipient address and name are printed outside.
EU shipping
EU shipping is quoted individually and paid up front - contact us for a price based on the destination. VAT for business customers with a valid VAT number (VIES) is automatically excluded.
Right to return (14 days)
Under Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act art. 50 you have 14 days from receiving the shipment to return it with no questions asked. Conditions:
- The device must be in its original packaging and free of use marks
- The SIM must not have been activated (if it was, an activation fee is withheld)
- The subscription is refunded pro-rata for unused months
- Return shipping is on the buyer (unless the item is defective - then we cover it)
- The refund is issued within 14 days of receiving the returned shipment
Installation
Teltonika FMB devices are plug-and-play - hooked up with 3 wires (+12V power, ground, ignition). A typical DIY install takes 10-15 minutes.
If you prefer professional installation, pick any auto-electric workshop you trust. Indicative price: 15-30 € for a 3-4 wire hook-up plus a hidden mounting position (~30 min of work). We hand over a fully configured device and a clear installer guide for the technician.
